Passageways offers 1-3 day river rafting programs on the beautiful wild and scenic Rio Chama River in Northern New Mexico. Programs include floating the 30 mile stretch of the Rio Chama designated as wild and scenic, passing through a river canyon of beautiful grey, white and red bluffs. The trip includes sections of class II rapids interspersed through gentle flat water. Participants float the river in paddle boats with professional river guides or in individual 1 or 2 person inflatable crafts. All boating equipment, food, and river shuttle back to vehicles is provided; participants provide their own personal camping & personal gear.
Programs include both recreational and theme-centered personal/professional growth seminars. Examples of seminar themes include: team-building, communication skills, building self-esteem, changing self-defeating behaviors, and “Being in the Flow.”
Programs may be customized for specific groups, and group discounts provided.
Overnight river trips are limited to 12 participants per group.
